The Buang Biker™ Cruising Historic Towson Woods

After 25 years, the Buang Biker made it back to this bridge nestled on the grounds of Towson University. Last time he was there, there wasn’t a fence. Or anything else for that matter.  Now there is Johnny Unitas Stadium just a short field away. Go Tigers!

The bridge is also near to the Sheppard Pratt’s campus.  Sheppard Pratt is a premier mental health institution in Maryland. Thankfully, the Buang Biker was just passing through even though it sounds like he should stay awhile….

The Buang Biker™ Doesn’t Bowl. But if he did……

Then East Lincoln Lanes would be right up his alley.  It is THE best run bowling alley in York County. People cross the Susquehanna and the Mason-Dixon Line just to bowl here.

This surely has something to do with the ownership.  This family-run business really cares that its customers have a great bowling experience at their lanes. Plus, they’re just really cool. So cool, they even make the cray-cray on two wheels look good. Thanks!

The Buang Biker™ Lunching at the Lake

The Buang Biker says: Why go to lunch when you can go to Lake Roland instead? Eating up the miles is much better than eating up the calories.

After nearly a year’s hiatus I’m baaaaack. Decided it was time to saddle up and get healthy.  Got a Tern Joe D24 fold up full-size mountain-ish bike.  The fold-up makes it easy to transport. The 26 inch wheels make me look less like an adult on the toddler’s bike.

And it rides smooooth.  Though really a road bike, it does handle the Greater Baltimore MTB-like roads with aplomb.  Plus, it’s sturdy enough to take on the back trail into Lake Roland.

It’s never to late to start getting healthy. Now saddle up!
